INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: PLEASE RE THROUGH THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINING THIS FORM. COMPLETING THE FORM INCORRECTLY MAY RESULT IN YOUR ATHLETES NOT BEING CONSIDERED.
This form is to be completed at the district meeting, and all district head coaches who are members of the New Mexico High School Coaches Association should participate in the meeting and sign this form. Coaches who are not registered members for the current school year are not eligible to nominate athletes for All Stars or All State.
THIS FORM IS TO BE COMPLETED TOGETHER AND EACH COACH IS TO SIGN. IF YOUR DISTRICT MEETING IS HELD VIRTUALLY, YOU MAY DESIGNATE ONE COACH TO COMPLETE THE FORM AND THEY CAN SIGN FOR EACH COACH- i.e. Coach Jane for Coach Joe. It is IMPORTANT that the District Representative ensures that ALL Coaches in the district agree with the rankings before submitting.
The districts athletes must be rated from 1 – 12. There are not positions.
The rating of the district’s athletes in the order they appear on this form shall be the order in which they will be considered for placement on the All-Star Teams by the All-Star selection committee, as per NMHSCA selection policy.
DO NOT place an athlete on the form unless they have confirmed they plan to participate. Please contact each athlete directly during your meeting to ensure their commitment.
Schools will be required to pay the athlete registration fee, even if an athlete withdraws from the All-Star event once selected.
No alternates will be selected.
This completed and signed Form A must be submitted the Friday PRIOR to "Selection Sunday."
This form must be signed by the district representative or designee and ALL district head coaches to attest that the rating of athletes has been agreed upon by each of the district coaches. Forms that are not signed by ALL Forms completed incorrectly will not be considered.
